July Update

I actually measured some stuff so I thought I'd update! Yah measurements. This is a comparison to my June 4th blog so about 1 month. This has been eat to live time, but with working out issues and some holidays.

WAS (only the key points/trouble spots)

Measurements June 4th
Weight 209.2 pounds
*Waist at smallest:34"
*Waist over Belly button:39.25"
*Hips:47.75"
*Thigh:30.25
My scale read (just for future comparison, I don't know the exact meaning of them all)
Fat:37.2
Water:45.8
Muscle:32.4
BMI:30.0

NOW, July 9th
Measurements
Weight 206.4 pounds (lowest for the year!)
*Waist at smallest:33.25"
*Waist over Belly button:39.25"
*Hips:47"
*Thigh:30.25
My scale read (just for future comparison, I don't know the exact meaning of them all)
Fat:36.4
Water:46.2
Muscle:32.7
BMI:29.6

So my trouble spots added up to 151.25 now they are 149.75 a loss of 1.5 inches! Yah! Good thing because i got bleach on my one pair of good pants and need to get new ones. I've also lost 2.8 pound. Yah not a huge loss for over a MONTH. But I lost weight. WHEE!

    Ah yes the increase in lean body mass. That is my absolute FAVORITE type of body mass. The fact that I shrank a little but didn't lose too much weight means some fat left and some muscle showed up. Happy!

    Nice! The measurement parts are good indicators indeed. As for the wt part...it went down...but if the Body Fat % is correct on your machine, then that means about 1% fat was lost...and about 1% Lean Body Mass was picked up. So if you had ONLY been "dieting" , vs eating well...which is NOT dieting right :-)....then you would not have gained that precious LBM....and in likihood the 2.8 lb drop would have looked more like 3 to 4 lbs of loss. But....its wayyyyy better to pick up that LBM. Woohooo you!

    Ok...did I make any sense?

    As for my July goals...I will update later today or tonight. I myself have been in exercise slacker mode this week.
