Im slipping...I can feel it. Im starting to not care what I eat. Ill snack when I see something. I dont know why I do this. Im losing weight. But I dont care I JUST WANT TO EAT THE GOOD FOOD!!! I need someone to kick my butt into reality. I want to lose weight I NEED to lose weight but I just dont know how to get past this. UGH....

    YOU can do it! Just keep swimming! Sometimes it helps me to think of doing "my future self" a favor.
    For example: I won't eat that candy bar, and future Samantha will be happy I didn't. Then, the next morning (or whenever) I take the time to say out loud, Thank you for not eating that andy bar yesterday Samantha…. I feel happier/more encouraged today because of it.
    For some reason, it makes me feel like I'm doing something good for someone else… and sometimes its easier for me to do good things for others instead of myself. I don't know if any of that made sense, but hopefully it did! emoticon

    I have been in through phases like that as well. I have learned from talking to several people who have helped me in my journey that sometimes it has to do with getting close to your goals and beginning to realize there is fear behind every layer we shed.

    It does take time to work through the reasoning behind the fears we all feel as we strive towards who and what we want to be and should be. Even after overcoming all those fears we still have others we just do not know about yet.

    I know that even with being on my journey for two years that I still have some fears that have not come to the surface yet and others that I are just now being discovered after meeting my final goal of being 187 pounds again.

    I realize this is a difficult battle to overcome for all of us here AT SP Community which is why we are all dedicated to making sure we have the proper tools, knowledge and support that we need to ensure a healthier lifestyle for ourselves and our children.

    Thanks for those words. I LOVE those quotes and might have to steal them.

    I know I need to be the one. I KNOW this and I WILL do it. I just hate how I let myself slip like that. But this time instead of slipping and giving up, Im starting again. I mean it was like 2 or 3 days, and normally I would just give up and start eating the same old way. This time I slipped and now Im back at it.

    As for the reason I want to get healthier. Is, One for myself. I want to feel good about myself. I want to be happy with my body. I havent EVER felt ok with my body. And I would love to get to my goal weight and say yes, I did it and I love my body just the way it is. Second, I want to get thinner for my husband. I want him to think im sexy again. He says he does, but I know what men think is sexy and it sure isnt what I got goin. And third, my kids. I want to be heathy for them. I want to be able to play with them. And also I would like for them to get good healthy habits from me so as they get older they dont have these issues like I do.

    Again thanks for the nice words. I needed that. Im going to have a nice start.

    Sweetheart, we are here to support you but YOU have to kick your OWN butt and commit to this process. We will help you any way we possibly can, but it all starts and ends with YOU. You have to be your own best cheerleader, you have to be your own meanest bootcamp seargeant, you have to be your own food monitor. Because YOU have to do it YOURSELF. We are with you every step of the way, but this change has to happen because YOU made it happen.

    What is your reason for doing this? Don't say, "I want to lose weight." That's not a reason. WHY do you want to lose weight? Because of a medical scare? Because you feel unattractive? Because you want to go on vacation and wear a bikini? WHY do you want to lose it?

    What are you willing to do in order to get it done? Are you willing to do whatever it takes? If that question makes you hesitate, you have some thinking to do.
