Quit smoking and lose weight
Thursday, July 07, 2011
I caught a few minutes of Dr. Oz where a woman quit smoking and did one certain thing and lost a lot of weight. I have noticed that when I try to quit smoking, I lose weight that week.
I know some people actually lose weight when they quit smoking, and I could be one of them. I should really give myself a chance to find out. I would have to quit smoking for more than a day to truely find out. I think I could do it. I need to quit smoking anyhow, so why not see if I actually lose weight doing it. I gained all of this weight after I started smoking, so it may be a feasible idea.
My worst outcome would be to gain a few more pounds. I don't see letting myself do that anymore than I already am. I lose a few pounds and regain a few. I usually stay within a 3 or 4 pound area. I don't always try as hard as I should and that hampers my weight loss. I really need to lose 127 lbs. I have lost 53 lbs. but that's not nearly enough to make me happy. I was down 70 lbs. but I gained some back through the winter and haven't lost it, yet.
Good luck to all, and many losses to you all.
