I had an absolutely fabulous 4th of July weekend/Anniversary. We traveled to Austin to see my daughter & son-in-law. I found out that my new grandbaby is a girl. She is due in November.
For our Anniversary, hubby & I went out to eat. It was, I have to say, a fabulous place in downtown Austin. Hubby was so funny as he realized that his dream of having all the finest quality meat he could eat came true. I know it’s not the best Spark thing to do, but it was fun and the service was excellent.
We spent all day Saturday watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy on blue ray. My Son in law had asked for it for his birthday. The daughter and I went out shopping for material so I could make her a baby blanket. That is a tradition that my mother started. The blanket is basically a piece of flannel that is crocheted all around. It is warm, cuddly and indestructible. No matter what is done to it; er how should I say… spit up, or the other, or spills get on it; you just throw it in the wash and it’s good as new.
There may not have been any fireworks allowed in Texas this year, but a fabulous time was has by all.
I'm glad you had a fun time in Austin, TX.. never been to TX but I have an aunt who lives in Corpus Christi... Hmmnnn.. Noticed that you're heading to Alabama.. never been there too.. then again.. there's a lot of states I haven't been to.. LOL!!! Congradulations.. on your new grandbaby!!! Did you enjoy The Lord of the Rings Trilogy??? I gotta get myself up to date.. LOL.. with the movies..
Anyhow.. Have a Great Weekend Ahead!!! Anna 3632 days ago
