I visited my dad this Fourth of July, and found out that he weighs about 10 lbs more than me. Since my dad is 6'2" and I'm 5'5", this really shocked me. I talked to my boyfriend, and we both got a gym membership to Snap Fitness 24/7. Also, we went to Lady Foot Locker and bought two gym shorts and two workout shirts (since none of my old workout clothes fit me). I'm looking forward to buying proper running shoes, but my old tennis shoes should do fine until then.

Now I'm committed to the gym (one I get my key card in the mail), so I should feel more obligated to work out. Also, I just bought a bunch of healthy veggies and fruits, along with some chicken, turkey, shrimp, and tilapia. I am all set.

All I need to do now is eat smaller, healthier portions and work out every day. Starting right now.

I'm going to do my cardio workout before I pass out for the evening. Here's to a healthy day! emoticon
