My Journey To 140 !!

Sunday, July 03, 2011

This is my first blog of any kind to do, but if it helps me on my weight loss journey, then I'm going to try to be faithful in writing.
I did really good today as far as fat, calories, carbs, water consumption, etc, but what I am noticing with my tracker is that I'm consistently not getting enough protein, so I'll need to change that.
Tonight we took the kids to the drive in movies in Gatesville. The movie didn't start until 9 o'clock as it can't start until dark. We had been running errands all day long so of course everyone was hungry, or wanted some sort of snack to take with them while watching the movie. My husband decided it would be easier just to run by Mcdonalds and get the kids some chicken sandwiches and fries. Oh how I wanted to order something myself, but I had done so good all day, so I just stuck with my ice water with lemon. We're just now getting home at a little after 1 am from the movies, and I am
starving but I don't want to eat anything because it's so late. I really don't like the sick stomach and the woozy feeling in my head but I'm not going to eat! Any other time I would just go snack away, but I refuse to give in to this temptation! I'm going to bed
now, I'll get a good night's sleep and it'll be a new day tomorow!

Good for you for resisting McD's!

But if you're really hungry, you should eat something, but make it healthy!

I can only imagine how hard it was to skip all those chances to blow your healthy eating plan. Good for you! Hope the scale starts rewarding you with a drop in the numbers.
