Lost 4 lbs.?????

Last week, I weighed myself and the scale said 168 lbs. up from 164 lbs! So I got back out there and started walking again ( I hadn't done much walking or anything for a couple of weeks). I started tracking my food and exercise, and even doing strength training and Coach Nichols 110 minute cardio videos. I weighed yesterday, and the scale said 164 again! Did I really lose 4 lbs in a week? Or did I see the scale wrong last week?
The only scale I have to use is the one at work and it is in one of the client's rooms, and since I work the night shift, they are all asleep when I get to work. So I used my flashlight and when I did the bed check, I stepped on the scale. I'm thinking maybe I read it wrong under the circumstances...but then again...I have increased my exercise and I have been eating good all week! But, 4 lbs in a week just doesn't sound right!
I guess I will just have to wait and see what I weigh next week:)

    Isn't it crazy how the scales move up and down like that??? I seem to be doing that ALOT lately. But I'm not reading it wrong, it's just happening! I'm away from home all day....still painting at the new house...and I'm not eating what I should, hate that!! At least you have lost the 4 you thought you gained!!!!

    Yea... weight that has been recently gained is not very sticky! That's why our weight fluctuates so much from day to day. I generally weigh 3-4 pounds more at the END of the day than I did at the beginning of the day... and by morning I weigh 3-4 pounds less! (that's the good part!) LOL! (NO... I do not weigh myself every morning AND every night! But I have done tests!)
    So I would take that loss -- and RUN with it!!! And speaking of running... I should hit the treadmill....

    That is actually very possible after the 4# gain. That gain could have been because of some strangeness in your body -- recovering from being sick, weather change, stress!! You went back to doing those things that are good for you and your body said, "YES!" and gave you the reward. Enjoy it!

    Yay for the 4 pounds down!! If you can gain four pounds over in a week, why couldn't you lose four pounds in a week? Right? They say that it is natural to vary 1-2 pounds in a days time, so top that with a little bit of loss...
