Day 15 - Karma's a B!^@#

Well, I guess the universe has decided that it is time for me to get serious here. Last night, because I couldn't find my blackeye peas and really didn't have anything ready to make for dinner, I decided to pick up a couple of pizzas for the hubby and me. Now, these weren't going to be the extremely fat-laden, cheese gooped, meat heavy typical pizzas. I stopped at Smashing Tomato and picked up pizzas with super thin crust, no cheese, no meat (other than anchovies on one) and olives and basil and.... So, not a bad pizza. A good pizza. But still a pizza. And I was well within my calorie range. Maybe the fat was a little high, but not by much.
But, still, I was not sticking to the whole cooking at home is better for me plan. And nature decided to put the smackdown on me. At least that's the way I've decided to look at it. After picking up my pizzas and while driving home down the interstate, a bee flew through my window and dive bombed my arm - of course the one that had a hold on the steering wheel. Before I had even realized something had hit my arm, the daggone thing decided to sting me. Hard. Then it died.
Mom always said I was stubborn and maybe she was right. But, I got the picture already! No more pizzas after work when I'm feeling lazy and am thrown for a loop by disruptions of my plans! No more bees must die to keep me on track. And my burning, itching, sore arm is reminding me of that right now.
