It's only WATER

My water retention is diminishing,
and the seven pound weight loss is just water weight,
but I'm encouraged by the lower number on the scale.

Due to medication complications I can't drink cranberry juice,
or take over-the-counter diuretics, or supplements,
or drink green tea.
I've been drinking a LOT of water, cutting out sodium,
using less salt, and getting a lot more exercise.

This is paying off and I'm going to continue this plan.
Hopefully I'll be able to see my real ankles by July 10,
which is when I will weigh again.

    Wow, I'll take 7#s down--I don't care if it's water as weight gone is weight down and I'm all for that!! I am so glad you're back and active again.

    And 7 pounds is 7 pounds! Whether it's fat, water, skin cells or hair.
    It's 7 pounds you don't have to carry around anymore! Good job!

    WOW! 7 pounds is great! I can only imagine how much more comfortable you are if that was a lot of water. Fluid retention sure doesn't feel good. I've had lots of trouble with that most of my adult life. Sounds like you're doing exactly the right things to help it. We're going to get there, my friend...together!

    I can't drink or eat grapefruit due to medication complications. It seems strange to me that I can have other citrus products but not grapefruit. I drink a lot of water, too. Hope you get to see your ankles on July 10! Have a great holiday weekend!

    Water is actually my preferred drink. IT does the body all sorts of good. I do like tea, and juice...but ....they are accents rather than my main drinking choice.

    WOO HOO...Sounds like you have a good plan going. I read about the weight loss on your status feed. Just think of how nice it will be when YOU can see those ankles....YOU can kick them up and happy dance to show them off.
