Working to get back on track

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

It's been 4 years since I started my original journey...tried to get back on track last year but school situations prevented it. I graduated in April of this year and have been miserable with myself (and my weight) since way before then but have very little time to dedicate to myself. I have promised myself that I will begin working out again, as well as eating and drinking healthy. I have recently started working in a Summer Camp program and have a feeling that I'm going to need the extra energy that being healthy is going to give me. I recently had a physical and found that my weight had blown back up to where it originally was and that is just not acceptable. I want to be proud of myself and happy with myself for losing the weight again. It is hard to be happy with myself when I wear a 3X shirt and have to wait for the director of the program to order more because instead of getting 4 shirts, I got one because they hadn't ordered "big" people's shirts. Just the wake up call I needed. Now I'm going to head off to bed so that I can get the recommended amount of sleep required to lose weight...night all :)

Hey keep up the good work. You know what you have to do. They always tell me that I have to do it, so I know where you are coming from. I go forward two steps and back up one step. You seem to know what you need to do, so good luck this time. Will watch to see how things go with you.
