Inspection Stickers, Baseball and kids.....oh my...

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

I started today off with the best of intentions....going to hit the didn't happen.

My hubby needed and inspection sticker for his truck, so it was left to with his truck I decided it was time to turn in the deposit cans and bottles that we had stowed in the garage.....but that meant I had to count all 500 of them.....I need to find a better system for that....and as I am typing this - I think I just did. Our neighbors that moved, left their trash barrels with us --- I am going to use one of those to hold the "proper" bag for the redemption center, and count as I put in......that will help.....

Any way - cans redeemed, now off to sticker.....not too painful - he needed new windshield wipers....which he knew - but was hoping he would get away with.....

When I got home the kids wanted to make brownies.....that's fine - they can - they follow the box, and do a good job, then they wanted lunch, and then they wanted me to pitch to them in the backyard to practice for baseball...

Before you knew it - it was 2 PM and the heat of the day - and HUMID....nope - no run.

Off to ball - game and a practice and here we run....

Tomorrow morning - I have no excuse. A spark buddy has challenged me to a virtual run, and I don't want to let her I am heading to bed, so I will be ready to go - even going to put out the running gear tonight - no excuses.....except for torential rain...which might be possible - but then I have the - excuse gone......
