First EVER session with a trainer.

My husband and I joined a gym. Something I never thought we would do. We were the oldest people signing up for the promo and I felt a little awkward, but still determined to do it because i just knew i needed someone to evealuate my technique o f weight lifting and such. Plus I know that a trainer will push you as hard as you can go . I had NO idea how hard that would be. I had never exercised to the point of almost throwing up. Of course he could see that I had been pushed about as far as i could go. ( I had already worked a pretty strenuous workday of 9 hours before I even went to the gym). How it was even possible to sweat that much in an air conditioned atmosphere i will never know! You know that bosu ball? Well it is totally beyond my ability to balance at this point! I ended up with a foam pad to do the exercise with. The person next to me that the trainer was working with was a kid just out of high school who was going into college and playing football. He could do the bosu ball but it was even challenging for him!!! The exercise was a squat, hop, and switch sides after jumping on the center of the bosu ball.We did intervals of that and then exercises with different sets of weights, and bands, never stopping to cool down at all between intervals. That 30 minutes seemed like a much longer time to me. I can't wait to go back for the next session. How crazy is that???
