Well this challenge hasn't been as productive as I'd hoped. I think I'm still working on figuring out what works to trick my body into letting go of it's reserve, and eating less while adding exercise did NOT work!

I've been increasing my activity more gradually the last few weeks and paying attention to getting a balance of carb/protein/fats to sustain my nutrition in the process, and that seems to be working better. One thing that has become noticeable is that I'm finally beginning to build some muscle in my upper arms. There's still a looooong way to go, but *I* can see a difference.

I'm planning to work this summer to continue increasing activity and strength. Hopefully more muscle will chew up fat that much faster. ;) I really think one of the biggest challenges to my consistency is when things get busy and I turn to packaged/processed foods. I MUST stay clear of those if I'm going to start seeing consistent losses. Even within my calorie range they cost me pounds every time. Luckily, it's summer time and there is an abundance of fresh fruits and veggies coming all the time! :)

    That's what I always say...consistancy, consistancy, consistancy.
