I did some tapping as things came up -- I just got through the beginning of an EFT & weight loss book. It zapped me a little, but since one aspect of my bumpy childhood was affecting me, as things came up, I decided to tap. I did gradually get in a workout and a good sweat.

My daughter and I went to the rec center too early so we headed for a park since she had the deadline. It took me all afternoon to do a cleaning project, but I did it and it feels very good. And the sweat factor today has been amazing! I look at that as a sign of progress.

So, as I rearrange, my first challenge is to get cleaned up and finish the loose ends and get to bed in time to get a good night's sleep. That seems to be a keystone for me.

Then it will be a combo of workout and chores. When I get behind on chores, other things suffer. Besides, that's part of conquering the mini-shutdowns.

I'm looking forward to making real changes but not with the excited intensity (you know the kind that burns out quickly?), but instead with the constant coal, and slow burn persistence. I've had so many years of being determined but fearing that I would fail (and whaddaya know my thryoid was in on that one), but now I can make a difference, even differences that I don't see today but have the evidence of the investment.

Okay, time to put the sheets on the bed and finish things for bed! Have a great week sparkers!

Your blog encouraged me to finish the "sorting through things" I must do... I'll think of the sweating aspect and calories burned to encourage me! :)

Good job with getting everything you wanted to do completed! I'm glad tapping is working for you. I'm going to start reading up on it after I complete a few things I have on my list first. Have a great week!

It sounds like you burned a lot of calories with your chores. Sometimes I also tend to shut down and procrastinate with things like that, but it really helps my mind when I do some chores, and then sometimes I feel energized by it.

I also think a good night's sleep is key. Did you get one?
Slow changes can help. Just keep at it.

There's 2 levels of certification, each requires 50 client hours, plus 3 hours videotaped and 6 hours of supervised review and consulation (have to pay for that) - and then they are working on a test for each level of certification. How long it takes depends . . . .

Sometimes a slow burning fire is better than a blaze! Slow and steady is the way to go. I read your posts on your EFT training. I have not pursued that avenue but have been using EFT for about 4 years. A friend mentioned it when I said I had a lot of pain. I use it daily on anything I can think of.
I love the videos on tapping that Brad Yates has, and he has helped me through Facebook when I had some difficult issues that I couldn't figure out how to tap on them. Here is his link
If you ever need a guinea pig to test things on, I would be more than happy to help :D
How long does the certification take?
