Guess it's been a bad week

Up to now, everything has gone pretty smoothly following my plan. This week however, the exercise portion of my plan went kaput! I am supposed to walk 2 miles a day, 3 days a week....Wed/Thurs/Fri, which are my days off. This week on Wednesday morning, it was raining when I got up so I wasn't able to do my walk, since the track I walk on is outside. I did walk about two miles over the course of the day though, since I followed my mom all over town shopping. I just didn't get the cardio workout I usually get with it. Thursday, the ankle I sprained/cracked just over a year ago was swollen and hurting (presumably from the slow walking on Wednesday), so again I didn't get to walk because I didn't want to injure it again or make the swelling/pain worse. Today (Friday) it is pouring down rain again, so again, no walking.

I thought about going later in the day, but as humid as it gets here and as warm as it gets when the rain stops, I am afraid to try it, as I am asthmatic and don't think an asthma attack or heat stroke would help me accomplish my goals at all!

Oh well....maybe next week I can get back on track.

    It seems for over 6 years, I've been trying to get back on track. Do you have a treadmill that you could use inside? I like using my exercise bike. I lost track this week and somehow still managed to lose 3 pounds. I know that you can get back on track and that you can accomplish your goals. It just takes time. emoticon

    We all get little bumps in the road now and then, but we manage to pick our selves up and get right back on track. On days when it's raining or the my feet tell me no way we are walking or using the treadmill I use a portable exercise bike. You can sit back in your favorite chair and pedal away while watching TV. If you have a Walgreen's near by they have them for about $39.95. One of my previous post has a picture of it. Was a good investment for me and helps a great deal when you can't get outdoors. Hope this helps you out to get back on track.

    there is next week or try walking in a mall there is no mall here so when it is too hot or something like that we walk the inside of the local store 3 or 4 times
