Tracker is GOLD

Thursday, June 23, 2011

If I didn't have the tracker to see what I am putting in my body, I wouldn't have lasted as long as I have. It opened my eyes, as to what I was eating, and one thing I did not need was sodium, more than the quota that is charted for me. I did a little test of what I ate before I started the "Eating clean" journey. I was taking in 3000 or more calories (that's almost a lb) and over 6000 mg of sodium in a day. I was floored!!! Because I existed on fast food, and junk food at home, ask me how many vege's I ate "O" Like I say here, my tracker is "Gold" It is time consuming, but it is so important to me, I make that time for it, some people are just on the go, so much, that the tracker is not the thing to do. But I will say it changed the way I look at food today, I am more aware of nutrients, whereas before, I had no clue. I didn't have a real nutrient tracker with WW or Jenny Craig, Nutri System, yes I tried them all,( WW countless times) or any of those weight loss (money hungry) institutions, and I gained back what I lost and added more, because I never knew what I was actually supplying my body needs, I counted 5 snicker candy bars for my points one day (WW) and how many nutrients did I earn with those? If you don't make the time, then this is not for you (the tracker) But a little piece of heaven fell out of the sky one day, and they named it Sparkpeople! MJ emoticon

I found the tracker to be a real eye opener and I especially like to track the sodium.
