Surgery date set..........

Wednesday, June 22, 2011

Well, I finally have a surgery date........

August 15th

I cannot wait to get this whole ordeal behind me! Just the thought of NEVER having to buy femine products again is exciting me! (Sad, huh?) Anyway, I'll be able to live my life without black pants and knowing how far the bathroom is from me.......

I haven't done very well with my eating over the past few days..........I think that I was anxious about finding out when the surgery would be..........I am very glad that I know now.......because I have the "control" back in my life.....(yeah, I am a type A person) I did very well with my food today! I am now focused on losing some more weight BEFORE the surgery......I am going to step up my walking regimen, as well. I want to use the time that I will be out of work to drop some additional weight and get into better shape......I know that I will be laid up for a few days.....(or more)....but I want to be able to step up my game on the treadmill!

Now that I have something to look forward to, I am re-energized! I just need to get past the surgery.......

I hope all my sparkfriends are having a great day!

Take care

Yay, yup, you wont believe how much money you save not having to get those products anymore. I am glad that you are feeling a little more in control of how things will go and glad you have a great attitude. Keep up the great work...I will be walking on my "new" treadmill with ya!

I am so excited for you. While surgery is not to be taken lightly, I am glad for you that you have an end in sight. Now to use that type A personality to your benefit and become a little healthier prior to surgery. I know emoticon
