no longer circling the airport, heading for my weight loss destination

I went to the airport on Saturday to see my daughter off on a trip abroad. I watched as the plane took off and I had an "aha" moment.
You see, I have been on the plane but in a holding pattern as far as my weight loss goes.
I joined the gym and I would get up in the morning and go, but would not push myself. I didn't really even break a sweat. Nice girls don't sweat, only horses sweat....LOL
Anyhow, I hired a personal trainer and "whinny" the horse here, let me just say, I SWEAT, and I have learned that I can do things I didn't believe I could. I endure a mind blowing body punishing hour and I come out of it feeling better than ever. Oh boy, do not get me wrong, it hurt like anything the first few days, but you know what, I can press 125 pounds with my legs. Who knew I could do that...and...I can get on a cross trainer, and not die. I thought I might, but I didn't. And, while sweating is not very elegant, it is darn good for me.
I have lost four pounds in two weeks of having a trainer. I would never ever push myself like that sweet looking little Attilla the Hun does. Oh yes, she is sweet and cute, but MEAN...just what I needed.
So, no more holding pattern for me, I am in the plane, we have left the airport, next stop is my weight loss goal/ destination.

    We really limit ourselves by thinking, "oh that is too hard for me." Good for you. You have stepped out of your comfort zone and I believe you will see results! emoticon
