Primal Reset: Day 6
Monday, June 20, 2011
I'm not good at doing nothing. As stressed out and busy as I was in graduate school, I'd much rather have that lifestyle than the one I do now! Being unemployed, I seriously have nothing to do with my time. I've cleaned the apartment, done as much laundry as possible, cleaned my car...and now what? With the exception of my workouts, I'm sitting on my butt all day and I can't stand it! Nor do I have any money to spend, and there aren't exactly many freebees in my area to take advantage of. Tomorrow, I might head over to the Habitat for Humanity Restore to see if they need any volunteers. I used to volunteer a lot in college, but after I graduated, adult life got in the way. Now's the perfect time to get back into the mix.
Today was a good day primally. I got in good workouts, and stuck to all primal foods. I was having one of those "unable to get satisfied" days, so I snacked more than I usually do. However, I didn't binge and I didn't go off-track, so that's good at least. I'm a bit carb-flu-y now that I'm nearly a week in, and I think that's why I'm so snacky. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal soon!
