Things are happening here...with pictures

This spring has been totally different than I've ever experienced. Different in the fact that I have a yard, garden and pool project going on. AND I'm TOTALLY enjoying every minute of it...

First inside...I got this sticker set from Stampin' It. I actually got two, but this is my favorite. I put it above my dining room window.

Now I've also been busy in my garden. I have a "LITTLE" garden, but I was afraid to plant too much and be disappointed if it did grow well.

Here's what it looked like three weeks ago...

and here's what it looked like tonight...

Growing well so far...

And lastly, we worked about six hours on the pool today. Last week it rained and filled with muddy water

so once the water drained out, we were able to finish the buttresses, lay the tracking, put up the wall and smoothed out the sand before we get to the liner

And here's my dear, dear husband (who by the way, I thank God for healing his back and enabling him to be able to do this today) is totally wiped out after today's job.

But progress is progress and we are SO excited about it. Hopefully by the end of the week we'll have an up and running pool.

So that was the fast update of what's going on here. Hopefully I can keep posted more often.

Oh, and I lost two pounds this past week!! Woo-hoo! I AM SO THANKFUL for SparkPeople and especially my special Sparkfriends!!!!!! Love you, guys!!!!!

Woo Hoo, first of all for the 2 lb loss, how great is that!!!

I can't believe the change in your garden after only 3 weeks. That is great. Your kids must love seeing everything growing.

Awesome pool. That is great that you were able to do the work by yourselves. You will be SOOOO happy. Will definitely pay off in the smiles and joy of your kids.

Your garden looks great! What have you planted? There's nothing more rewarding than being able to eat the fruit and vegetables you have planted yourself! I can see the happiness on my father's face who plants two huge gardens every year with my mum and provide us with fresh and organic vegetables all summer! I'm amazed by your pool. Did you really do all this job yourselves? Wow!! I hope that you'll soon be able to enjoy it!
    Have a beautiful Father's Day!

Praise God that hubby's back is healed and he is able to do soooo much for his family. I pray that he has a marvelous Father's Day, but I'm certain that with you and your clan, you will treat him like the king of the family that he is. It's no wonder with all that you have going and all that you have accomplished that you lost that weight. CONGRATS! - on both your weight loss and all your accomplishments!!!
