First Downer Night :(

I'm fighting my first real dissappointing night, and fight it I will.
I didn't hit 10,000. The dinner I had was not all that good, and it felt heavy.
I didn't do any back exercises, or any exercises for that matter.
What DID I do?
Well.. I did go to my chiropractor and he noted a definite difference in my range of motion (I have more of it then when I first started with him) and sensitivity (I have made big improvements in that I am less sensitive to pressure points). I happily told him I give credit to doing back exercises, (but didn't get a chance to tell him that I also am walking more and drinking more water, which I think also helps).
After that I stopped at home briefly to change and then drove to a friend's house and spent time visiting with her.
We took a short walk from her house to the grocery store, each picked up a couple things, and walked back. We spent a pleasant time visiting in her porch. I tried Wheat Thins for the first time (!) and actually really liked them (though eating those certainly won't add much nutrition to my day).
When I got home, and as I fixed dinner, I did fill the dishwasher and get it started, which greatly improved the visual appeal of our sink :)
I also cut up carrots and potatos and am cooking them in a crock pot with half/half beef broth and water, so I'll have something to "grab and go for food next week". Hopefully by then I'll also be able to make a "potato pie", again as way to bring decent food with me to work instead of buying the same not so great items at the cafeteria every day.
Tomorrow after work I am getting together with some friends for a scrapbook "crop", but I haven't done any scrapbooking in a long time and I did not put any time this week into preparing for tomorrow. After staring at my supplies for an hour tonight, I decided to "let it go", and not worry about what I will do. I'll bring my laptop which will provide me with several options to keep busy while the others scrapbook. It will be big "gab fest" anyway, since we haven't gotten together in quite a while and will be busy catching up.
I'm going to sleep NOW, which should allow me to get 7 hours sleep tonight. That's a positive note to end my day on.
