Weightin Alone

It would have been so easy to sleep in and skip my work out this morning. No one to work out with.... all my buds had some excuse- job, kids, to tired. The alarm went off and I didn't even hear it. My husband was like uhh, your alarm, hello. So I laid there and thought about skipping it, but I knew later I would beat myself up. I jump out of bed, got ready and headed out to the Y to do some weights. I did kinda back off the plan that I had. I was going to use one that I had done with the trainer, but there was quite a few people in there and you need to use move that one place at a time and some people get a little pissed that early in the morning if they think you are in their way. So I took the sorta easy way out and did some super sets, upper and lower and got it all in. 45 mins. and I was done. Some good music and I couldn't believe how fast it went by.
Tonight is the first meeting for info about the half marathon training program. Can't wait to see what they are going to offer and how it will work. Would really like to learn how to do track work outs.
Time for some oatmeal and hit the day full force. Sunshine and rain ahead.

    You and your oatmeal! You're so cute. Can't wait to hear about the HM training. Somewhere in my crazy mind, I'm contemplating a HM but I'm very, very scared to take the plunge. Speaking of plunge ... how's the swimming coming along?

    Good for you!! it's tough to climb out of a warm, comfy bed to workout, so you should be proud that you did it, especially when you weren't having to be accounable to anyone (in terms of a workout partner) but yourself!! :)

    LOL I needed this. I'm sitting her reading blogs and avoiding my strength training. Enough of this, time to hit the weights.
