Laziness is like a disease....

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

Many people ask me why I like to stay busy. The reason seems clear to me. Laziness is a disease. If I am consistently working, working out, and staying motivated, I continue to do that. As soon as I stop, everything crumbles. And the proof is sitting in front of the computer right now.

I was working out 5 days a week for about a month. And then I did not wake up on time one I'm down to 2 days a week for the past few weeks. As a matter of fact, there is a zumba class at my gym that starts in about 2 minute. I am obviously not there. I have not tracked my food in at least a week, maybe more. I have not been as productive with other things either (like extra work I need to do for work to prepare for upcoming events and workshops). It is like I am sick right now and need to recover from this bout of laziness I contracted. I wish they had a vaccination for this!

I feel you!!! I was doing the EXACT same thing. All I did was do a REALLY great workout that I enjoyed and reminded myself that I didnt want to negate the work I did.

It got the ball rolling anyway :) I know you can do it! Maybe just some jumping jacks in place to remind your body how good it feels to move! emoticon
