I've been experimenting with different dishes lately to see how my culinary ability can be improved.
Last night I tried making sweet potato fries. I was pretty nervous because I've had these in restaurants where I've loved them and I've had them in restaurants where I don't like them at all.
Maybe it's the simplicity of this recipe that makes these so tasty, I'm not sure, but I just had to share. If you like sweet potatoes and a little spiciness with your sweetness, give this recipe a try. It's from a fellow sparker:
A little tip for this recipe, it says to use a mixing bowl to coat the dry ingredients over the potatoes, but I used a large, ziploc freezer bag. I put the ingredients in and shook it up. Seemed like it was easier than trying to get the potatoes to stay in a bowl.
