Well.. I got out for lunch and got cat food, but also stopped by REI to see if they had pedometers (just for curiousity). To my amazement, they were the ONLY store who sold anything other than Sportline brand pedometers. I had already ordered my Omron pedometer from Amazon, so I was also frustrated, because I saw another Omron style for sale at REI, which I would have preferred over the one I bought online. Oh well. Much more difficult to return things mail order, so not worth the return cost. Besides, I haven't even handled the one I ordered. I need to at least give it a fair shake. It may not be quite as compact as the others, but it definitely had the best reviews...

Ashley - I'll post my first impressions of my new pedometer on a future blog entry :) If you bend or squat a lot, do NOT purchase the Sportline TraQ Any-Wear Pedometer. Though I really loved the size and design, it reset itself without my permission twice in the three days I had it. I'd love to see that same style with a little more protection of the buttons...

I definitely need to get a new pedometer. Mine doesn't really work all that great. It really sucks actually. Good luck with yours! Let me know how it does for you. Maybe I'll try that one if it works good for you. emoticon
