BLC Letter to Self

Friday, June 10, 2011

To be read August 13, 2011;

Ten weeks ago you started your second BLC Challenge, the BLC Summer Slimdown Challenge. The 10 weeks of this challenge promised to be some of the most difficult weight loss weeks you have had since starting SparkPeople.The kids were home from school, we took a 2 1/2 week long vacation and when you started you were struggling with a plateau that was already 6 weeks long.

While on vacation you did your best to make smart menu choices(even though you indulged just a little), you found ways to measure and log your food, you ate your freggies, you drank your water and you found fun and creative ways to exercise with the family.

I want you to know that no matter what the scale may say, I am PROUD of you! You proved that you are committed to lose this weight and to making a permanent, healthy, lifestyle change.

I am sure though that your commitment has paid off. You have finally broken through that seeming endless plateau and as a reward you have found Onederland! All this just in time to celebrate one year of sparking.

Happy One Year SparkVersay! and Congratulations!
