Today was not the best food day, I went over on calories, in part because it was a crazy day at work and I had takeout for lunch and dinner. On the plus side, I did adjust my fitness page and my allotted calories jumped up quite a bit. I don't intend to use them all, but after being so hungry this week, I made my changes and hark I was actually way under my goals when I had previously kept missing the mark. Makes things just a bit easier.

Dance class last night was FABULOUS! Nisaa is hands down one of the best teachers I've had to date. She teaches straight Egyptian (I prefer more AmCab) by her teaching style is very precise and she is also teaching more toward musicality in the dance rather than just steps. We are learning about the various rhythms and movements which traditionally are paired with certain types of rhythms. Good times:) I wish I could take more than one class per week! This is exercise I can see myself doing for the rest of my life!

    This teacher sounds like the real deal!! What a great thing that you've found her. Keep at it and you will be able to really get in touch with the essence of the dance under her tutelage. Bravo!!

    As for going over your calories, I say if you're constantly hungry, you should eat. Start with protein and then round it out with a bit of good fat and a few carbs.
