I'm definitely doing good. I had been in this mindset back in Iowa but sort of got derailed with up and moving to Texas on a relatively short notice. However, I was surprised that I didn't put hardly any weight on this past month and a half to speak of. Basically maintained and now that I can go to the pool almost everyday I am back to losing. Plus tracking is helping me too.
I might have killed my poor pedometer today as I accidently wore it into the pool. *L* I have it laying out on the balcony so it can dry out. At least it was just a $5 one from Walmart.
I'm glad we have the pools at this complex as it is good for my husband. He has a bad hip from a car accident when he was younger. Being more active will be good for him. Even though I have been overweight all my life I have had pretty much no health problems. Never had to be at a hospital overnight. In fact, for myself I've only ever been to a hospital once as an adult (the same one I was born in- oddly enough). I've always thought the "Fat people use up all the healthcare dollars! OMG!" people have been rather overblown. Plus it is a lot easier to be healthy when you have a decent income, no commute to speak of, able to live at an apt complex with a gym and pools. I know I am very fortunate.
