It's slow going but I am losing weight.
A year ago I was 30 pounds less and had normal blood pressure readings. Now I am heavier and my blood pressure is consistently elevated. So I was referred to the ship's dietitian and will be having an appointment with her sometime next week. In the meantime I am trying to eat smaller portions and less snacking.
I have no control over what foods are available here so it makes 'dieting' very interesting. Also makes me realize how easy I had it back in the states.
