p90x major fail

I was delusional in thinking I could keep P90X up for 90 days or more...lol. I am not in shape. If I could've recorded myself, it would have definitely been a youtube sensation. I couldn't breathe and I was constantly telling off the guy in the video as well as my brother who was doing it with such ease. Then, you add in me holding my boobs every time I had to jump (which apparently in P90x is something they do quite often) and my bunny trying to hump my leg as I am trying to balance. It was not awesome and I dreaded it. So, back to square one-ish. I am going back to my Larry North's Seven Day Slimdown and seeing how long I can last on it past 7 days. It's really not that bad and I lose 10 pounds every time I do it. Even if it's not the permanent lifestyle change I am looking for, at least it will get me jump started and feeling better. I plan on swimming as much as possible and walking to the pool to boot. Now that we live a block closer to the community pool- it seems less like horrible torture to endure the sun for half the amount of time.

Anywho- here is the breakdown:
*meal one-hard boiled egg
*meal two-hard boiled egg
*meal three-2 cups veggies and half a chicken breast
*meal four-2 cups veggies and half a chicken breast
*meal five-hard boiled egg OR 2 cups veggies OR 1/2 cup of nuts

It's not really the original plan- it's catered to me. The other one had me eating two cups of grains a day and twice the amount of boiled eggs. I can be good with one boiled egg and some water. I am only drinking water and tea without sweetener. Salt and pepper are okay as I will be drinking a TON of water, but I will usually only have it on my eggs. The veggies is where I will be getting my variety--so many to chose from- yummmm. The diet says I need to do some cardio every other day- and I will be trying to get it in every day with walking and treading water. I bought one-a-day vitamins to supplement this endeavor.

This year is completely dedicated to me getting my body back- not just the shape, but the health and the time when I didn't hurt all the time. I am getting health insurence in July and I intend on talking to a doctor and see where I need to be health-wise for the procedure. Hopefully by this time next year, I will have gotten rid of my back pain from the weight on my front. Then, I will be able to run and jump! The thing I am most excited about is being able to see my feet when I walk down stairs. I don't really remember the last time that was possible- my chest has always slowed me down and I am going to take control this year.

That's pretty much it....wish me luck I s'pose. Let's hope I can lose what I want and get a jump start! Good luck to everyone else on their endeavors.
