In line with my promise to myself to think outside the box and try new exercise I saw 'bellydancing basics' on exercise tv. Well, lord knows I've got more than enough belly to shake so I tried it. OMG. This is very challenging ab work. But being facinated I ran it two more times to see if repetition would help my clutzy inability to move gracefully. (not my strong point.)After noticing that the instructor was barefoot, I removed the running shoes and tried some more. Hmm. I may be able to pull this off. I have found a new exercise which makes me feel more graceful and sexy. Will definitely do this again.

    Great job thinking outside the box. I tried that a few months ago but the only one of us that could do the moves was my then 2.5 yr old. Hope you keep it up. Sounds like you had fun.

    This is hard for the body, be careful, it needs lot of patience and perseverance.

    You should have seen me (at my age and appearance - HAH!) try a full 2 HOURS of ZUMBA! That really should have been taped for "America's Funniest Home Videos"!


    Kudos to you for breaking out of that ol' comfort zone - definitely worth the effort (as was my Zumba experience)!
