Jump Into June - Week 1 Recap

I figured I'd get my weekly update blog done now while I have the time to do it. We are having company over tonight so there's no telling whether I'll be around in time to get it done later or not.

Week 1 has found me with more motivation than I ended May with. I have done at least 90 minutes of cardio everyday, as well as 30 minutes or more of strength at least 6 days. My biggest struggle this week has been forcing myself to do my cardio indoors - I had gotten into a good routine doing quite a bit outside in the pool or wherever, but with 100 degree temps and the pool temporarily closed down, it made me have to really push this week.

I have found a new workout plan to try that seems to be fun if I don't overthink it. I'm also considering a couple of others to start out - I still haven't decided on the Brazil Butt Lift yet but I have to make a decision soon since I'd start on Monday. Who knows!?!

This coming week I want to keep my focus on getting my running in. I have really gotten out of the habit but have done good this week at getting back into it.

I have been a little frustrated that the scale isn't tipping much in either direction but I'm not letting it bother me. I need to do my measurements and see if there's any improvement there. I know that the weight is going to drop more slowly since I'm getting closer to my goal weight but come on already! LOL

I hope everyone has a fun activity-filled weekend! I'm off to clean so I can enjoy the rest of mine.

    Great work! I'm dreading doing cardio indoors as well.
    The monsoons are all set to begin soon. And here if it rains it pours... Not for one day hut weeks on end...
    Right now I'm enjoying the light showers but dreading doing cardio indoors.
    I guess I'll get my dance practice done more often during that time.
    All the best keep at it... Ull tip the scale yet again I'm sure... Plateauing means it's working.. Your measurements will definitely have changed. Let us know.

    You are doing fantastic! Sometimes the scale lies, it doesn't show improvements like measurements and just the way you feel. Good for you for getting all those workouts in!

    I have been looking at the Brazil butt lift workout as well but I think that I am going to make it a reward based on my June success.
    Yay for getting the cardio even though the pool is closed that is something I really need to work on myself.
