It's the weekend....

Weekends are HARD. With two very active boys, trying to get the exercise in is always a challenge - and eating well - that's tough too....But I am determined to real this ship on the right course, so I am already planning where I can get my exercise in.....

I got another run in today - 3.5 miles. I did the first 30 minutes at 4/1 intervals, and finished out with a 3/1. It felt pretty good. I'm a little frustrated, because my info disappeared off of my ipod/Nike fit, and thus won't be registered for the 50 miles in June challenge I entered on Nike+.....so I lost 3.5 miles....so if I make it to 50 in the challenge, it will be 53.5

My GWF says I have taken over 20,000 steps today - and that is HUGE...it's amazing how many extra steps you get in cleaning the house and doing laundry -things you don't think of. Now that the weather is nice, I also get four short burst of cardio walking the kids the .1 mile to the bus stop. The way home is all uphill, so with a good push, I get out of breath just walking up - it's great......

Blogging has become more of a recap of my head - so I'm sorry they are BORING - but it's helpful to look back at them.

    It is really amazing how many more steps you get in doing those everyday things like cleaning the house and just walking around.

    I can totally relate to the blog thing, most of my blogs are really just a message to future me to be able to look back and thing about what was going on at the time.
