Clearly, not the trend I want to maintain. I love how a new month gives us a new start. May started out strong- went flat in the middle, and then I picked it up at the end. But why the inconsistency? Oh, just life. But if we know LIFE HAPPENS shouldn’t we just adapt to it and move forward anyway? Why stop what’s supposed to be a habit- come rain or shine? I know, easier said than done. Anyhoooo, live and learn. A new workout calendar for June is printed and on the fridge as usual ready to be filled!

I’ve adopted SWEETNSKINNY’s theme for June—Just do it June. It’s simply perfect; just what I needed. On 5/27 I weighed 137.6. Ouch. It stung. Hadn’t seen that number since I passed it back in 2009. But I expected it having had a WEAK May in both nutrition and fitness. And although my clothes were still fitting ok, the buttons around my stomach were getting kinda tight and hurting, you know, when they leave a mark…Argghhh….. But already today 6/3, after a solid 2 weeks of good eats and workouts I’m at 133.6!!! So take that MAY! I’m aiming for 130 (or 129!!) by July 4th! This WILL BE DONE!!! Working out at least 5 days a week (3 for running, 2-3 days of strength training and cross training including spinning). Eating lots of fruits and veggies, lean meats, no processed junk, CUT DOWN on all sugars/carbs and yes, that includes chocolate.
