Well, the pool still isn't ready. It's looking like the maintenance guys will have to drain and refill it. Maybe it will be ready by the weekend!?! That meant another day of hanging out inside with the kids. The splashpark trip didn't happen because the kids have both had major attitude today. Momma needs a break!!!

I have managed to not let the aggravation force me into making bad decisions today. My food has been on track and I'm still getting all of my water in. I did cheat and have a glass of Coke today, but I kept it at no more than 8 oz and didn't refill the glass.

My workouts have been great today. I got in almost an hour of cardio this morning and ran 2 miles on the treadmill earlier this evening. I was hoping for another 5K today, but after running last night when I haven't been in a while, my legs weren't cooperating for much more. I'm thinking that I'm going to throw on a Zumba video or something in a little bit after my stomach settles from dinner. I'm at 70 minutes for the day and want to hit at least 90...

I feel you on the pool. It can be a life savor to keep the kids busy during the summer and great for us and exercise! I am impressed with the amount of cardio you got in today! I kicked my own but with over 2 hours of deep cleaning...the kind that you end up soaking wet with sweat and you are so tired.., 20 minutes with the kids on the trampoline this morning, got in my walk through the neighborhood, and my kids put on some really up beat music and made me dance for what felt like forever, but it was really only 20 minutes give or take a few! Around 5 songs...before I just fell out...so I guestemated at 20 minutes. Yeah...a new word! I don't think I invented it! I use it a lot though. So, I am exhausted...good night all!

    so emoticon

off to bed emoticon so that we can do it all again tomorrow! emoticon aiming for the big points! and big weight loss! hoping they go hand in hand for me!

emoticon I feel you on trying to keep the kids busy. Today was Dane's (my 4 year old) last day of Pre-K. Now I have him, a 2 year old and a 19 month old to keep entertained all summer. Haha... I figure we will have lots of outside activities like the splash pad. emoticon

Great job staying on track. I know that frustrating feeling and wanting to grab something to help with it. The exercise helps A LOT for me!!!

@SUNSHINESLP1 - I'm fortunate that my kids like to exercise with me. I just finished a 30DS video since I felt like a good butt-kicking before I hit the shower. My 2-yr old sat and watched me while doing his own version of the arm movements. LOL

I had hoped to get in one more video but it's getting close to bedtime and I still want a shower. Plus I figure that even though it's only 97 mins of cardio today (which is great), I've burned over 800 calories.

Wow! I guess I need to up my goal on cardio! Way to go girl! I don't know how you do it with kids at home. The only time I get things done for me is when they are sleeping or I am at work! Keep it up!
