Living Up to Expectations

Thursday, June 02, 2011

We all try to live up to the expectations of our loved ones. Sometimes it is hard or seems impossible to do. My son expects me to lose weight and get into shape. He is in the Army and doesn't take excuses. So far I have lost 50 lbs. for him, but now he has gotten into bodybuilding. He is down to 8.5 % body fat. His expectations from me have went much higher. He was injured last Friday in Afghanistan. They are flying him home ( to his home) so all he will have to do is ponder what he wants everyone else to do until he heals. So I had better start my exercise before he kicks my butt with exercise. I know he will want to change my diet also, so I am doing that too.

I would say 50 lbs. is admirable and he should give you praise for that. Best wishes.
