Shorts!

My husband and I went to a mass merchandise store today and bought 2 new pair of shorts apiece. This was a monumental occasion for both of us, and for me in more ways then one.

The first thing we are excited about is that we both were able to purchase our shorts from the "regular" clothing section. No embarrassing trips to the "womens" dept or the "big & tall" area.

The 2nd thing is that this is the first time that I have purchased shorts that I plan to wear in public in over 10 year. Yes, that's right, I haven't worn shorts in public in over 10 years! Still not totally in love with the legs, but I am at least, " in like" with them, YAY me! I MIGHT even post a picture or 2 of me in them or my new dress here in the next couple of days....
