A Check-in Note

Hey All!

I hope you are doing well and that your journey has resulted in much nutrition knowledge gained and weight loss. You guys are always in the back of my mind.

So far I have made it to the halfway point (21 weeks) in my pregnancy, which is wonderful and nerve wrecking (LOL). I haven't felt the baby move yet but I'm hoping it's any day now.

And talk about the weight gain, wow. I have tried to fight it a bit (eating correctly as much as possible--need 300 extra calories for baby-- and just moving) but it still has come on. But I know it's good for the little one.

However, I worry about work to remove this excess weight loss to come. Can I do it? I sure hope so. My DH says he believes I can because once I set my sights on a goal I attain it. I hope that is true. But right now, focusing on the little one. Still it's been hard watching this weight just pack on me.
