i took a class with Garry Carlson on setting SMART GOALS

I learned so much, and was able to take a really deep look at many parts of my life.
he gave out three different hand outs,
J.U.M.P - Just Understanding My Priorities
and btw, the class was not on loosing weight, it was for achieving our life goals
so i am sitting their and applying, processing all the information he is sharing and it hits me like a sledge hammer . LOL
I am not loosing my fat due to NOT PRIOITING THE WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY, What the heck
nor am i Priotiting myself.. hhhhhmmmm very interesting
The next hand out was "IT'S ABOUT TIME"
Third was SMART GOALS
so... if you have a group that you can get together i believe he travels and he does on the phone coaching.. check him out.
i have applied his Smart Goal outline to many things,/ different aspect in my life
here are some of my weight loss ones..
my vision board for weight loss started out as
I AM STRONG ENOUGH TO :
first I am statement was,
I am strong enough to eat right every time i put something in my mouth
ironically, i wrote this and stop and thought and thought.
then i applied the SMART GOAL, questions to it..
was this realistic, LOL heck no i knew i could make great choice's most of the time
but was everything i put in going to be perfect. NO
so i switch the I am statement to:
I AM STRONG ENOUGH TO CONTROL MY PORTION EVERYTIME I EAT,
that i can do !
Next i wrote i am going to excise everyday, again i applied the SMART GOAL PLAN TO THE STATEMENT, and realized it was so NOT specific enough
so i changed it to
I AM STRONG ENOUGH TO LIFE WEIGHTS EVERY DAY! note i didn't put this hugh unrealistic weight lifting plan, i am going to just lift EVERY DAY!
I AM STRONG ENOUGH TO WALK ON MY TREADMILL EVERY DAY
last but, not lease is a vision board
I AM WORTH IT, BEAUTIFUL AND SEXY ! ! ! ! ! ! !
below this i wrote, LOL if your not feeling it, put in Zumba and dance till you feel it completely! ! !
