I DID IT!!! FINALLY!

Saturday, May 28, 2011

I stepped onto the scale this morning and its official, I have FINALLY broken into the 160s! It might only be 169 but seeing something in the 160s is something I have not seen in, man, maybe high school or so! I actually thought that there was something under the scale causing the "off number". Nope!

What a great birthday present—my 31st birthday is tomorrow—and it could not have come at a better time for me.

I am working through a nasty, nasty cold and only got a chance to work out once this past week. I think because my sinus pain and fatigue makes eating a chore so I eat what I need to satisfy but I am not eating mindlessly and since I can't really taste much, eating isn't as fun. Oh and I am like a camel drinking water! So this cold is about over and I know my body is on the mend and will be back to itself soon. I want to keep this momentum going. I can see that by just changing my eating habits, changes are being made.

All of this and its my TOM too and I still managed to lose weight, the first weight I have lost in way too long. May this be the beginning of the end of my nearly 9 month plateau.
