Back from vacation (with photos)

It was one of the best I can remember. We had lovely weather as we visited my daughter in NW Georgia. Since she moved up there several years ago, we have gotten to know several of her friends, and now they are our friends as well!
One of the fun days was a meal outside followed by a time of kayaking near the home of one family . Several families live on a serene, tree-sheltered lake, and a couple have established a kayaking business (but friends come free!). I registered my aerobic exercise under "canoeing" that day...good calorie burn). Dunno why the lake looks a funny color of green, as it isn't really that way.
Another day, we went to the Georgia Aquarium. An incredible place, for sure! It is right next to the Coke Museum, but we only went into the museum's store, due to time limitations.
Also, we planned our trip to celebrate our middle granddaughter's baptism, and then several families went out to eat afterwards, and had a great time of visiting.
For other exercise, we went swimming and took walks at the middle school's stadium track. A local farmer's market provided us with some succulent fresh veggies as well. I managed to come back weighing the same as before I left, so I consider that quite an accomplishment!
(Note: the photo I'm using as my background shot was taken from the second story of my friend's house; the lake is barely visible through the trees at this vantage point.)
