Summer Challenge

As I'm sure my status updates have hinted at, I'm taking part in a Summer Challenge this year. It's a body composition competition that spans 98 days. I started last Thursday so my contest will run until August 24th. Ultimately, the person with the best transformation will win. The best part about this contest is that the only person that you are compared to is yourself. So if at the end someone comes out looking like a fitness model, they might not necessarily win if they were already lean to begin with. It's becoming the best that YOU can be over the 98 day period.
I've made a great start with this competition so far and am really looking forward to keeping at it throughout my next 13 weeks!
Changes from week 1 - week 2:
Weight: - 4.8lbs
Body Fat %: - 1.1%
Waist: - 1 inch
Hips: - 0.125 inches
Legs: - 1 inch
Pooch: - 0.75 inches
I lost 3.6 pounds of fat and 1.2 pounds of muscle. In general, I know that muscle loss is not good, BUT as of this week I have 130 pounds of muscle. I need to lose some if I want to get to my goal weight of 150. Just as long as I'm losing more fat than muscle, I'm ok. If I can lose 4 more pounds of muscle and 26 more pounds of fat, I'll be at my goal for this competition. I know I can do it!
