Jump starting my diet

I lost 9 pounds this week. I jump started my diet by taking care of my small grandchildren. I didn't have time to eat and I got plenty of exercise with two 15 month old toddlers and a 5 year old. Of course, I realize most of this weight loss was fluid, but it really makes me feel good about dieting. I know this isn't the sensible way to lose weight, but it just happened. No wander I was a lot smaller when I had small children, I didn't have time to eat.

I intend to start a sensible diet on Sunday, when they go back to Kentucky. I will be eating veggies and fruit, along with meat and a small amount of bread. I always drink my water, even though I forget to track it. I will have to get better at that. I do not eat many processed foods. I cook my own meals at home. I don't eat out very often. I eat mostly baked chicken. Occasionally I will cook some other kind of meat, though not often.
