Day 11: Starting a streak

I've worked out at least 30 minutes every day for eleven days in a row.

The start of a streak. The start of something big. The start of a healthy habit to last the rest of my life.

Today I did Day 2 of Week 4 of my Spark C25k program. I ran 5k in 35 minutes - not too shabby considering that my first race is in about 20 days.

What is motivating about this start of a streak? That I can already feel it. Only eleven days and I can already feel the differences in my body. That I've lost 2.5 kilos and I feel more svelte and sleek. That I CAN do this. I CAN find the time to work out 30 minutes every day. That I CAN get up 30 minutes earlier and do some pilates and make a healthy breakfast.

I want to reach day 111 and look back. I want to reach day one hundred and eleven, day one-one-one and say: I COULD and I DID.

And keep on running. And eating healthy. And cooking new things. And learning. For the rest of my life.

    Great Job on your streak!!! They can be so motivating! My highest got to 125 days, and I felt great. I haven't been streaking in a while (no wonder I haven't been loosing). Just started a new streak with the May bootcamp challenge and the 5% spring challenge and am on day 26!
    Keep it up! Great 5K time too! Good luck on your race.
