Hmm, this week isn't going so well, it seems stress has returned due to a collosal amount of work I have to do for university, taking over my life. Critiquing research in the field of mental health in children and adolescents is difficult and I have little time and too much to read.

To make matters worse a large slice of tiramisu bypassed my mouth earlier and now I feel guilty. Why is it that stress always seems to lead to me eating all the wrong things?

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day as I return to London to spend a week with my fiancé, wish me luck. xxx

    Hang in there. I well remember the stress from papers. It was always difficult for me to sit still for any length of time. I would spread books and articles out on my table and try organize materials for what I thought would be written. When I got anxious, got up moved around. Maybe you need to organize your snack food too. Cut up some raw veggies and fix a good low calorie dressing. Remember what they say...two steps forward, one back. You will keep moving forward with a few mishaps. Look into the group SLOWEST LOSER and you will find a very supportive group of folks that are losing slow which is actually a good thing. Plus, we cannot give up everything we love or we will resent our new plan. emoticon emoticon
