Got my groove back today!

So I had been feeling so tired lately, I couldn't understand it because when I first started excercising regularly I had a ton of energy. Well I bought "The Spark" last night and got up this morning with a renewed energy. I walked about a mile to the dunkin donuts to get one of my favorite breakfasts-the egg white flat bread with turkey sausage, then I walked briskly back home. The entire trip was 2 miles. emoticon

Later, I weighed in at the local grocery, where I always go to weigh, and was shocked to be down 2 lbs. emoticon Last night I finally refused to include buffets in our dinner options, and we had a lovely dinner at a local seafood resturant which allowed me to make better choices. I love when making better choices pays off.

Now off to do some more reading of "The Spark" emoticon

    They let you climb on those little produce scales to weigh yourself at the grocery store? LOL That's the picture I had in my head when you said you weigh at the grocery store! emoticon

    Good job on avoiding something you know to be a temptation. I had to tell my daughter I'm not going to the Chinese buffet anymore and she almost cried.

    Way to go..I overdo it when I eat at a buffet! That's a good idea..walking to get your favorite food..even if it's healthy!!

    emoticon I don't like buffets and usually try to avoid them, but others in the family like them. For me they are a waste of money, but if we are going with other folks then I have to work really hard to not give in to all those choices! Tough sometimes.
