Pigging out and not sleeping

Hello finals week, nice to see you again! Oh, a website project? How nice and fun! Oh, a paper? YAY! It's exciting because it's about immigration but boooo emoticon it's due on Wednesday, when I have my Spanish test. Oh, I can bring notes to my US Society Final? Woooo! Oh, it's an in-class essay on anything between the Civil War and the Cold War?

Hahaha I could have it a lot worse, so I'm thankful for the fun this semester has brought, and for the breaks that my teachers have given me.

I'm in college, I love my friends, my Mami sent me a scale, and I'm going home on Saturday morning. emoticon My paper is going to take time but it's on a really exciting subject: The recent immigration of an indeterminate number of Irish fleeing the financial crisis to Woodlawn, Bronx, which is an Irish-American area. Now it's getting fresh blood, and I'd love to walk around up there and hear that emoticon sexy Irish brogue... And learn things about the past and present immigrants, of course!!

Thanks to everyone who commented on my stuff and was supportive during my near-absence from Sparkpeople lately. I'm trying to be better about it because I know being on here is much better for me than facebooking at odd hours, even if it does include putting stupid funny links on my Mami's wall.

I was up until 6 last night because my procrastination was pretty horrible until about 2. I just got up at 1:40 PM... ew. Anyway, today I pledge to do all my work, WATCH MY PORTIONS, and drink water.

Tomorrow I shall venture to Woodlawn and write a paper! Huzzah!

Now, about my previously set goals:
*read one news article (check)
*read a chapter of any book (check)
*drink water as much as possible (eh)
*think about protein ;) (eh)
*check all email, answer all email (check)
*work out (check)
*do homework/something educational (check)
*go on Sparkpeople! (check)

Have a great week everyone!

I like that "think about protein"... As a non-meat-eater since 1993, I totally get that. I am trying to eat a little bit of fish here and there, but since I said that in Jan, I think I have only done it three times. I guess I'm not thinking about it enough.
