Weekly Progress Report
May Week 3: May 14 - 21
Sunday weigh in: 800g down!
Total weight lost since 1 May: 3.5 kg (7.7 pounds – sounds better in pounds doesn’t it! LOL!)
Past week’s exercise:
Uploaded Polar data (for Discovery points)? Yes
Cleared Polar data? Yes
Updated Polar weight? Yes
Virgin Active gym visits: Only 1 (need 3 before end of May otherwise membership will be terminated!!!!! NB NB NB!!!!!!MUST GO THIS WEEK!!!!!!)
Run 5 K progress: 3 x 5 K runs – fitness definitely improving – feeling great if a bit sore
(right quad and hips very achy)
Extended Saturday’s run to 7K
Other exercise: 1 hike on Sunday (Faerie Glen Nature Reserve – fantastic walk with tough bits, did the extended Kiepersol trail – a great workout)
1 short high speed Dassie trail though the botanical Gardens on Wednesday chasing two 5 year olds.
Past week’s nutrition:
Nutrition: very good, really enjoyed my meals and managed to keep my “hot bevs” to a maximum of 4 a day - so proud of myself. Yay!
This week’s menu plan:
Will keep meal plan more or less the same for this week:
Today- Sunday: big salad for me, risotto for family, supper?
Monday: run day – fish and steamed veg
Tuesday: veg/bean soup with polenta on the side
Wednesday: run day - pasta “veganaise” for supper
Thursday: Veg curry on brown rice
Friday: long run day - ??? veg enchiladas?
Saturday: stir fry with tuna steak
This week’s challenge:
• Keep hot bevs at 4 max a day
• Go to gym 3 times!!!! (Even if it’s just to use the loo. I don’t want to lose my membership!)
• Incorporate ST – try for at least 3 days!
• Lose 800g minimum!!! Come on I can do it!
One more week left and then I’ll be upping the tempo!
