Holiday Weekend & Grandson's Birthday

Friday, May 20, 2011

It's hard to believe but Sunday we are celebrating Logan's 2nd birthday, he was born May 24, 2009 and weighed over 8 pounds. Where has the time gone? He sure has been a cute boy and has quite a personality but he is sure cute. His sister, Nyla turns 5 July 23rd and thinks the world of her brother, she is like a little Mommy helping out whenever she can. I love watching them together.

This past year has gone by so quickly, it's been fun watching him develop and become the "little man" he is today, he's smart as a whip, has great language skills, he's actually putting together short sentences, counts to 10 and knows much of his alphabet. He loves books and always wants us to read him a story. He's on the move and is growing in leaps and bounds, physically, emotionally, mentally and socially... You can tell, this gal is a PROUD Grandma...

Come Monday I will have plenty of photo's to share. It sure is going to be a busy and full weekend for us here in Canada, it's our long holiday weekend, we are celebrating Victoria Day on Monday! So between Logan's birthday and our holiday weekend I will have plenty to keep me busy.

Tomorrow's blog I'll share something about Queen Victoria and why we celebrate this special day. Watch for my blog tomorrow.
