So I've been trying to make some changes, but it's really hard when my family fills our house with junk food. At least when I was at college, I could choose what kind of food to have around. Here, they buy what they want along with what I eat. It's great that I'm able to make sure we have healthy food, but when all that junk food is staring me in the face, it's really hard to just say no when cravings hit. I'm trying to get better, but it's certainly not easy.
If anyone has any suggestions about how I can bring this up with my mom without being rude or making her feel bad? She needs to hear it, but I'm not sure what to say so that she really understands I'm trying to make changes here.
